Role: IT Business Analyst Job Type: Permanent Location: North West, Remote Working Salary: £37,000- £40,000 Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm Industry: Connectivity & Products (IT) Help shape the future of SGS digital solutions. We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in the ongoing development and improvement of our customer-facing digital platforms. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with business stakeholders, developers, support teams, and customers to understand requirements, improve processes, and deliver system enhancements that make a real impact. You'll bridge the gap between technical teams and business users, ensuring solutions are clearly defined, thoroughly tested, and successfully delivered. What you'll be doing - Gathering and analysing business requirements for new projects, system enhancements, and process improvements - Translating business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria - Working closely with developers and technical teams to deliver effective solutions - Supporting Agile delivery, backlog management, sprint planning, and change requests - Coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring solutions meet business requirements - Identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities for continuous improvement - Supporting software releases, deployment planning, and stakeholder communication - Helping modernise and de-risk key business-critical systems
