Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear specifications for development teams.
- Model business processes using BPMN and contribute to the design of functional workflows.
- Create and maintain functional documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Support the definition and validation of REST APIs and system integrations.
- Collaborate closely with developers, testers, product owners, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Participate in testing activities, including test case preparation and validation of delivered functionalities.
- Act as a point of contact for functional questions and support users during project implementation phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
- Around 3 to 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or in a similar role.
- Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience with business process modelling (BPMN).
- Familiarity with REST APIs, Swagger, JSON, or related integration concepts.
- Experience preparing and executing functional testing activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluency in French and a good command of English.
Nice to Have
- Experience working on public sector or eGovernment projects.
- Knowledge of XML/XSD, JSON Schema, or data modelling concepts.
- Experience creating UI mockups or functional prototypes.
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
