Sky is hiring a Principal iOS Developer to play a key role in building systems and shaping the technical direction for our global streaming platform. You will be responsible for architectural decisions, technical strategy, and mentoring engineers to deliver exceptional experiences for millions of users worldwide.

What You'll Do

Set and maintain the long-term technical strategy in collaboration with team members and lead critical architectural decisions.
Provide technical leadership across entire codebases, acting as a subject matter expert for architecture, scalability, and system reliability.
Define strategic technical direction and develop actionable plans to improve KPIs.
Shape the engineering culture and establish technical standards that promote consistency, reusability, and high-quality development practices.
Make decisions about when to build solutions, buy off-the-shelf, or partner with 3rd parties.
Mentor other software engineers on best practices and contribute to their development.
Raise the bar for code quality and testing to ensure the best possible journeys for business and customers.
Lead platform-level and strategic technical innovation efforts, evaluating and integrating emerging technologies.

Demonstrable track record in the design and delivery of leading-edge strategic business solutions from concept through implementation.
High understanding of application design and architecture.
