Responsibilities
- Strictly follow all policies and procedures related to examinations
- Prepare examination rooms by verifying that technology is functioning
- Arrange equipment and ensure examination materials are accessible
- Assist students before examinations begin
- Take attendance and prevent students from talking inside the examination room
- Address student inquiries or direct them to an instructor when needed
- Handle examination irregularities according to established procedures, including monitoring, documenting, addressing, and reporting violations of the College’s Academic Integrity Policy
- Prevent unauthorized removal of equipment or examination materials from the room
- Ensure students exit the examination room in an orderly and quiet manner
- Collect and organize completed examinations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Understanding and commitment to maintaining appropriate standards of confidentiality and security of materials
- Ability to work independently to deliver exams as per required guidelines and instructions
- Effective communication skills, specifically, ability to read aloud clearly, with good pronunciation
- Clear and accurate handwriting
Nice to Have
- 1 year of post-secondary education preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience preferred
- Technical competency to troubleshoot basic computer issues is preferred
