Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, test, and repair inverter equipment in accordance with Konecranes standards
- Maintain and service inverters and associated equipment to ensure 100% customer satisfaction
- Perform remote on site customer services, troubleshooting and repairing of inverter equipment and related products at various Ports within North and South America
- Perform depot level repair, testing and recertification of inverters
- Provide technical support to customers and technicians on site
- Document and complete reports upon completion of each assigned job
- Follow all established safety rules and procedures, including those established by the customer
- Carry out on site root cause analysis on equipment failures
- Read, understand and apply the contents of all OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI and other codes or regulations pertaining to our industry
- Refresh and update knowledge periodically
- Prepare proposals and pricing for customer repairs
- Interact with customers and coworkers at a professional level, able to work both independently and as part of a multi-tasking team
- Maintain all company issued equipment, vehicle, and assets in a safe and proper working order
- Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
- Notify supervisor of any deficiencies for resolution
