Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the movement and coordination of physical inventory across departments.
- Unpack, inspect, and store incoming components upon arrival.
- Help maintain precise inventory records with up-to-date system entries.
- Identify mismatches between ERP data and production needs, including part counts, SKUs, and component types.
- Spot and suggest improvements in how digital systems align with hands-on inventory tasks.
- Promote a safe workspace through consistent daily organization practices.
- Ensure all received goods are fully unpacked and stored according to guidelines.
- Keep storage areas clean, organized, and assist in planning space for new deliveries.
- Carry out inventory transfers and log all movements accurately in internal platforms.
- Support periodic physical inventory audits as required.
- Evaluate incoming shipments and weekly plans to prioritize upcoming work and projects.
- Follow proper handling procedures and adhere to First In, First Out protocols.
- Apply labeling standards to direct materials to overflow or alternate storage zones.
- Assist in setting up storage bins and assigning component locations.
- Support efforts related to ERP system rollout and integration.
- Receive shipments of stock, custom items, prototypes, and samples from various sources into studio, warehouse, or showroom.
- Inspect and process all incoming deliveries, including international, local courier, ride-share, and domestic parcel shipments.
- Verify bills of lading and packing lists against actual deliveries, reporting variances to procurement and inventory leads.
- Reinspect, unpack, and restock components upon receipt as part of intake workflow.
- Package and dispatch purchase orders to vendors as instructed by procurement staff.
- Prepare and pack orders for both domestic and international dispatch.
- Handle material requests—including shipping, packing, receiving, and non-inventoried items—submitted by other teams, coordinated with the Inventory Manager.
- Assign received parts and materials to active client orders based on scheduling.
- Support logistics between different physical locations as needed.
- Confirm transfer documentation, verify picked materials, and enter data accurately.
