About the Role
The specialist will monitor inventory levels, conduct audits, and implement systems to improve accuracy and efficiency across warehouses and distribution centers.
Responsibilities
- Track inventory movements across multiple fulfillment locations
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Identify discrepancies and resolve stock variances
- Maintain up-to-date records in inventory management systems
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure proper stock placement
- Support process improvements to reduce waste and errors
- Generate reports on inventory accuracy and turnover rates
- Assist in reconciling inventory data with financial records
- Monitor stock levels to prevent overstock and stockouts
- Work with procurement to forecast inventory needs
- Ensure compliance with safety and storage protocols
- Troubleshoot system alerts related to inventory anomalies
- Implement best practices for inventory control and traceability
- Support year-end inventory audits
- Coordinate with logistics to streamline receiving and shipping
- Use data to identify trends in product movement
- Verify inbound shipments against purchase orders
- Manage return inventory processing and documentation
- Optimize warehouse layout for inventory accessibility
- Train team members on inventory procedures
- Maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes
- Respond to inventory-related inquiries from internal teams
- Evaluate inventory KPIs and recommend adjustments
- Support integration of new inventory systems or tools
- Ensure timely updates to inventory databases
