Dev.Pro is hiring an Intermediate Software Engineer for an international Agile team building a robust enterprise-grade human capital management (HCM) platform. This role involves developing backend services with PHP (Zend) and frontend features with Angular for a leading provider of payment processing and payroll solutions.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain backend services using PHP (Zend)
- Build and support frontend features with Angular
- Write clean, testable code and ensure high standards through unit testing
- Review code and participate in technical design discussions
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs, performance issues, and integration challenges
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to define and refine technical requirements
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to task estimation, sprint planning, and delivery
- Stay up to date with modern development trends, tools, and best practices
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of backend development experience with PHP
- Hands-on frontend experience with Angular, React.js, or similar
- Familiarity with MongoDB
- Solid understanding of API integrations
- Experience with unit testing and writing clean, maintainable code
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Upper-Intermediate+ English level
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and stay focused on routine tasks
- Adaptability, proactivity, and initiative in identifying issues and suggesting improvements
- Strong sense of ownership and commitment to visibility
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with Zend Framework or strong familiarity with other PHP frameworks such as Laravel or Symfony
- Working knowledge of Node.js
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
