Responsibilities
- Develop and manage automated test scripts for web and React Native mobile platforms using the current WebdriverIO setup
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test cycles to validate application behavior
- Execute and oversee automated test runs in CI/CD environments, identifying and flagging issues early
- Investigate failed tests, interpret results, and report outcomes clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Partner with developers and senior QA team members to shape testing approaches for new and existing functionality
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and backlog refinement to support comprehensive test planning
- Design, document, and update test plans, test cases, and associated reporting materials
- Promote early testing integration to identify defects sooner in the development process
- Gradually expand responsibility for the test automation framework with mentorship from the team
