Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support healthcare data interfaces using Mirth Connect while adhering to industry standards such as HL7 versions 2 and 3, and FHIR
- Work closely with diverse teams including IT, clinical personnel, and administrative staff to assess integration needs and deliver effective solutions
- Maintain high standards of data integrity, confidentiality, and tracking across multiple systems like electronic health records, lab platforms, imaging, and billing software
- Diagnose and fix interface-related problems to ensure seamless communication and optimal performance between connected systems
- Keep current with emerging trends, tools, and methodologies in healthcare data exchange and system interoperability
