InnovationTeam is seeking an APIGEE Integration API Developer/Consultant to join our API Management Development Team. This remote position is focused on the full-cycle implementation of APIs exposed on our API Management Platform.

What You'll Do

Work with a team of designers and developers on internal and external APIs within project work.
Participate in solution discussions with the team's Designers and Architects.
Participate in daily technical status meetings and provide project managers with status updates.
Support end-to-end testing activities related to implementation compliance with design.

What We're Looking For

A minimum of 5 years experience in Systems Integration, including API Development and hands-on work with API Management Solutions.
Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience working with API development teams on large-scale projects, with hands-on experience implementing Enterprise-level APIs for large organizations using APIGEE.
Extensive experience with APIGEE Policies related to Security, Throttling, and Data Transformation.
Strong knowledge of API Securities such as Basic Auth, oAuth2 flows, SSL Mutual Authentication and their implementation on APIGEE.
Experience with JS scripts and their usage within APIGEE.
Strong understanding of API Design and hands-on experience designing and writing API Specs and Design Documents.
Clear understanding of both the APIGEE on-premise and APIGEE Cloud infrastructure and components.
Experience with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
Ability to communicate with team leads, designers, and project managers to provide periodic status updates.
Deep knowledge of RESTful APIs methodologies and principles, with strong experience in REST, JSON, SOAP, and XML.
Must have experience and a clear understanding of the OpenAPI (Swagger) specification.
Strong understanding of security protocols and networking requirements related to API and service exposure.
Working knowledge of DevOps, continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD).
Previous experience working with Design/Development Governance Principles and Guidelines.
Previous experience working with Enterprise Integration Patterns and Frameworks.
Availability to work within the KSA timezone and workdays remotely.

Nice to Have

Experience with other API Management Tools like SoftwareAG or IBM.
Familiarity with TMForum OpenAPIs or similar industry-wide OpenAPI Specifications.
Familiarity with the APIGEE on-premise DevPortal.
Familiarity with APIGEE multi-tenancy.
Familiarity with other Google Cloud Products and Technologies.
