Responsibilities
- Design, construct, commission, and manage sustained operations of hardware-in-the-loop test environments for all vehicle variants to support mission simulations and fault testing
- Create and sustain modular test setups with interchangeable hardware and simulation components to allow targeted subsystem validation
- Produce, evaluate, and carry out appropriately scaled test strategies for integration efforts, documenting outcomes and providing design feedback
- Assist in software version validation and regression testing using the hardware-in-the-loop platform
- Lead integration tasks at component, subsystem, and full-system levels within test environments
- Prioritize safety in test setups by proactively eliminating risks to personnel, especially around high-voltage systems, moving parts, and energy storage
- Establish and oversee configuration management processes covering hardware, firmware, and wiring standards for test platforms
- Build and support real-time data monitoring and visualization tools for test operations
