Responsibilities
- Sell Gerber Life products directly to consumers using leads from DRTV ads, direct mail, internet, partnership marketing, and existing customers.
- Deliver high-level customer service by addressing needs through various sales and service functions, including handling service calls directed to the Contact Center.
- Identify customer needs and product value through engaging conversations.
- Make recommendations that address customer needs while supporting business growth and goal achievement.
- Process inbound and outbound sales and service calls.
- Complete new insurance applications by entering information into the electronic database.
- Sell policies to new prospects and existing customers using a proven consultative sales approach.
- Handle calls in accordance with regulatory and compliance guidelines to ensure accuracy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Works in a remote office setting and remains stationary for long periods while using a desk, computer, or other standard office equipment, or during meetings.
- Requires the ability to verbally communicate and exchange accurate information with customers and associates regularly.
- Requires visual acuity to read and interpret correspondence, procedures, reports, and forms via paper and electronic documents, including inspection of small defects, parts, and machinery using measurement devices continuously.
- Visual acuity is required to determine accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work assigned.
- Requires the ability to prepare written correspondence, reports, and forms using prescribed formats and conforming to punctuation, grammar, diction, and style rules regularly.
- Requires the ability to apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Performs substantial movement of wrists, hands, and fingers for continuous computer work.
- Extended hours required during peak workloads or special projects or events.
