Nikkiso is hiring an Instrumentation Engineer II

Responsibilities

  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams to create and refine control and instrumentation systems tailored to project specifications.
  • Choose suitable components including sensors, transmitters, control valves, gas analyzers, and contribute to P&ID reviews.
  • Generate and evaluate part lists and verify hook-up drawings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with suppliers on procured components, conduct skid inspections, and support testing procedures.
  • Set up, calibrate, and configure instrumentation hardware in alignment with technical standards.
  • Verify system performance and precision prior to commissioning, including field support during site activities.
  • Conduct pre-dispatch reviews of project skids, perform calibration checks, and ensure P&ID markups are completed.
  • Participate in design evaluations and standard-compliant selection of instrumentation devices.
  • Collaborate with engineering staff, technicians, project leads, and clients to manage project execution and resolve technical issues.
  • Apply expertise in hazardous area equipment, adhering to IS/IEC 80079-38 and IEC 60079-17 standards, including documentation and product validation.
