Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust software systems for proprietary laboratory instruments using C# and Windows Presentation Foundation.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for research scientists, identifying operational needs and converting them into defined software requirements.
- Create software interfaces for both commercial and custom hardware components by leveraging third-party APIs, software development kits, and .NET integration tools.
- Manage the full software development lifecycle, including requirement collection, documentation upkeep, and progress tracking using Jira.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical and electrical engineering, scientific staff, and manufacturing personnel to troubleshoot system interfaces and ensure cohesive integration.
