Responsibilities
- Develop electrical and control designs for packaging systems.
- Create design drawings and documentation to fulfill project requirements.
- Compile the electrical bill of materials and specify components and related details.
- Write purchasing specifications for electrical and control components, including instruments, motors, generators, control panels, electric heaters, PLCs, UPS systems, and other parts.
- Review project-specific specifications and provide feedback when necessary.
- Coordinate with the electric shop, vendors, and engineering teams of EPCs.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of product instrumentation and control design for turbo machine control systems and component selection based on project needs.
- Possess strong expertise in design and CAD drafting practices.
- Confidently interact with the engineering team and application groups, delivering accurate technical information.
- Review and maintain the latest revisions and documentation.
- Travel to customer sites as requested by engineering.
