Bright Horizons is looking for an Instructional Coach to provide leadership within our early education community. You will lead a team in implementing high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with our philosophy and anti-bias education.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team in implementing high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with our philosophy and anti-bias education.
- Be a curriculum expert and use educational quality tools to assess and enhance program implementation.
- Partner and communicate effectively with families.
- Mentor new teachers and serve as a role model for the teaching team.
- Create a safe, nurturing environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth.
- Collaborate with a dynamic team to create engaging curriculum.
- Provide center supervision, curriculum delivery, business management, and customer and client services per Bright Horizons’ policies.
- Perform a mixture of duties including office/computer/phone-based work, in-person supervision of care delivery and employees, family interactions, and temporarily serve as a supervising caregiver as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Candidates must pass required state and company background checks.
- Meet state and company minimum education and experience requirements.
- CDA with an educational plan to complete an associate degree is required.
- At least three years of professional experience teaching in high-quality child care, daycare, or preschool settings is required.
Nice to Have
- Associate or higher degree in early childhood education or child development related field is preferred.
- Experience working in a NAEYC-accredited center is preferred.
