Responsibilities
- Supports engineers and technicians in positioning and pre-configuring infrastructure components.
- Executes physically demanding tasks at installation locations to support daily operational needs.
- Helps transport equipment, racks, containers, and pallets during setup and teardown phases.
- Contributes to site cleanup and returns facilities to original conditions post-installation.
- Manages disposal of waste and debris in compliance with site requirements.
- Conducts site preparation and executes necessary steps to deploy approved ISP/OSP designs.
- Aids in installing cabling, racks, cabinets, and related equipment for ISP/OSP systems.
- Adheres to established protocols and instructions provided by supervisors or lead engineers.
- May support testing and verification efforts under supervision.
- Performs cable management, labeling, and maintains accurate records.
- Assists in returning work areas to their prior state after project completion.
- Applies foundational technical knowledge and procedures to assigned tasks.
- Monitors progress and reports task status updates to leadership.
- Maintains logs, reports, and documentation as instructed.
- Works under oversight but is capable of independent execution on complex tasks; may guide less experienced workers.
