Responsibilities
- Supports engineers and technicians in positioning infrastructure elements and pre-configuration tasks.
- Executes physically demanding duties at installation locations to support daily project functions.
- Helps transport equipment, racks, containers, and palletized materials.
- Aids in cleaning and returning workspaces to original conditions post-installation.
- Handles disposal of waste and surplus materials in compliance with site guidelines.
- Conducts site setup and deployment tasks necessary for approved ISP/OSP solutions.
- Supports the installation of cabling, racks, cabinets, and related hardware.
- Adheres to established protocols and instructions from supervisors or lead engineers.
- May support testing and verification efforts under direction.
- Performs cable management, labeling, and maintains accurate records.
- Assists in returning sites to pre-project state after work completion.
- Applies foundational technical knowledge and standard practices to assigned tasks.
- Monitors progress and reports status updates to leadership or senior staff.
- Maintains logs and updates documentation as required.
- Works under oversight but is capable of independent execution on complex tasks; may guide entry-level workers.
