Responsibilities
- Review and interpret contract documents, technical drawings, specifications, and safety guidelines, including all revisions and updates.
- Verify contractor adherence to contractual standards and specifications using observation, measurement, and testing, while tracking quality assurance milestones.
- Record daily logs of contractor workforce deployment and equipment usage on site.
- Conduct required site supervision and inspections as directed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer.
- Document contractor personnel, equipment, work locations, activity purposes, and methods used within assigned areas.
- Report on material deliveries and execute site instructions issued by supervisory personnel.
- Enforce and carry out all site-specific quality control measures and procedures.
- Follow and implement directives and instructions provided by site leadership.
- Ensure consistent application of quality assurance protocols across all inspected activities.
- Perform and prepare necessary on-site measurements and survey checks as requested by supervisors.
- Carry out inspections to verify compliance with applicable quality standards, performance criteria, and regulatory codes.
- Observe and monitor health and safety practices during construction operations and report any violations.
