Village Practice Management Company, LLC, on behalf of Innodata Inc, is hiring a part-time, remote Generative AI Specialist focused on the humanities. This flexible, project-based role involves shaping the development of large language models (LLMs) through critical evaluation and content tasks. You will apply your humanities expertise directly to cutting-edge AI development.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and rate the performance of AI models based on their output.
- Annotate and label specific elements within content pieces.
- Classify content by assigning predefined categories or labels.
- Assess the perceived quality and appropriateness of content.
- Generate labels to advance conceptual understanding of trends.
- Create additional training data through data augmentation techniques.
- Grade data to identify if a product feature works as intended.
- Identify and label whether content meets specific criteria.
- Rank items based on a set of preferences or criteria.
- Create prompts to generate responses from language models.
- Evaluate the relevance of content against a relevancy scale.
- Generate responses to prompts using AI systems.
- Rewrite existing text to improve clarity while preserving original meaning.
- Produce concise summaries of longer text or data.
- Compare content to drive similarity determinations.
- Transcribe spoken language or audio content into written text.
- Translate text or spoken language from one language to another.
- Collect and compile various data forms for training and evaluating AI models.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a humanities specialization.
- Professional or Expert level proficiency (C1/C2) in both English and French.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States at the time of hire.
Nice to Have
- An advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) is strongly preferred.
Work Mode
This is a part-time, fully remote position open to candidates located anywhere within Canada, excluding Quebec.
