Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors is looking for an Ingénieur Logiciel Embarqué to contribute to advanced embedded software projects within a dynamic engineering environment. You will participate in key phases of software development, from porting existing code to new hardware architectures to integrating and documenting solutions.

What You'll Do

Port existing embedded software code to new hardware architectures.
Implement software layer abstractions and integrate them with the current embedded system architecture.
Deliver high-quality, documented code using version control systems like Git.
Participate actively in code review sessions and collaborate with the development team.
Ensure adherence to technical standards and best practices within the embedded software environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to low-level protocols and system integration.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

What We're Looking For

Proficiency in C, C++, and Python programming languages.
Strong understanding of compilation processes and associated development tools.
Ability to read, understand, and refactor existing embedded code.
Familiarity with low-level protocols and hardware-software interactions.
Comfortable working in Linux environments and using terminal commands.
Several years of experience in embedded software development.
Autonomous, rigorous, and adaptable to technically demanding environments.
Strong documentation skills and ability to collaborate effectively in team settings.
