Responsibilities
- Deliver intravenous medications and therapies while closely observing patient responses
- Continuously assess patients for negative reactions and intervene promptly when needed
- Provide guidance and education to patients and family members about infusion therapy protocols
- Ensure thorough and up-to-date documentation of medical histories and treatment plans
- Work alongside healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Carry out infusion procedures in compliance with established clinical standards and policies
- Uphold rigorous infection prevention practices and maintain sterile conditions during treatment
