AECOM is hiring an Infrastructure Senior Project Manager - Defence

About the Role

The role involves managing large-scale infrastructure projects in the defence domain, overseeing planning, execution, and delivery while maintaining strict adherence to regulatory and security requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of critical infrastructure programs in defence environments
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure project alignment
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules and budgets
  • Monitor project performance against milestones and deliverables
  • Ensure compliance with government and military standards and protocols
  • Manage risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and senior stakeholders
  • Oversee contractor performance and contract management activities
  • Prepare detailed progress reports and executive-level briefings
  • Ensure integration of security protocols across all project phases
  • Lead project governance meetings and decision-making forums
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies
  • Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld
  • Manage change control processes for scope, cost, and schedule adjustments
  • Support bid development and project scoping for new opportunities
  • Work closely with client representatives to align expectations
  • Ensure documentation meets audit and compliance requirements
  • Manage interface points between multiple project workstreams
  • Oversee quality assurance and assurance frameworks
  • Lead closeout activities and handover to operations teams
  • Promote collaboration across geographically dispersed teams
  • Ensure alignment with strategic defence infrastructure objectives
  • Apply project management best practices tailored to government contexts
  • Maintain accurate records for project assurance and accountability
  • Support lessons learned initiatives for future program improvements

Compensation
