Responsibilities
- Manage the setup, configuration, and ongoing operations of resources within the Azure cloud platform.
- Integrate and administer identity governance tools such as Entra within Azure ecosystems.
- Monitor hybrid cloud systems for performance issues, conduct troubleshooting, and implement optimizations.
- Apply industry-standard security controls to safeguard sensitive information and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Install and configure physical hardware including servers and network switches for both cloud-integrated and on-site data environments.
- Run, terminate, and test network cabling including CAT6 and fiber optic lines to ensure reliable and high-quality network connections.
- Oversee power, cooling, and physical access controls in data centers and server rooms to maintain operational integrity.
- Work with cloud architects, network specialists, and cybersecurity professionals to support enterprise-wide infrastructure needs.
- Deliver direct technical support during infrastructure updates, data transfers, and rollouts involving Azure Stack Hub.
- Diagnose and fix hardware failures and network connectivity problems in a timely manner.
- Keep detailed records of all infrastructure components, covering both cloud-based and on-premises systems.
- Ensure all system configurations adhere to internal security policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Support project planning and implementation for hybrid cloud initiatives, including scaling Azure Stack Hub capabilities.
- Coordinate with external vendors and third-party contractors to ensure on-time and effective project outcomes.
