Responsibilities
- Support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the hybrid network, including Meraki switching, Palo Alto firewalls, Panorama, Prisma Access, Global Protect, and Azure networking.
- Implement and maintain network security controls, including firewall policies, segmentation, Zero Trust/ZTNA capabilities, IPsec/VPN tunnels, and ACLs, under the guidance of the senior engineer.
- Administer DNS, DHCP, and certificate lifecycle activities across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Prepare, implement, and validate network and firewall changes through the agreed change management process.
- Investigate and resolve escalated network incidents within SLA, including participation in the on-call rotation for network-impacting issues.
- Work with Engineering and DevOps to understand infrastructure requirements and support the delivery of secure, reliable network solutions.
- Partner with IT-Sec on security alert response, vulnerability remediation, and compliance-related network activities.
- Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including network diagrams, runbooks, implementation notes, and support procedures.
- Contribute to the assessment of new tools and technologies by providing hands-on feedback and operational insight.
- Share knowledge with peers and support less experienced team members through day-to-day collaboration.
