Responsibilities
- Plan, set up, and manage servers, storage, and networking equipment to meet business requirements.
- Diagnose and fix advanced infrastructure problems to reduce service interruptions.
- Track system performance and fine-tune resource usage for efficiency.
- Carry out system enhancements, transitions, and rollouts of new infrastructure components.
- Enforce security measures through firewall settings, access permissions, and encryption standards.
- Record system designs, configurations, and operational processes.
- Work with IT personnel to align infrastructure with broader technology systems.
- Perform periodic system reviews to verify adherence to internal policies.
- Offer technical expertise and training to less experienced team members and users.
- Keep current with evolving infrastructure tools and suggest strategic upgrades.
