About the Role
This role requires a seasoned individual contributor who has operated Kubernetes at scale, prioritizes security and data governance, and can shape the evolution of a cloud foundation under audit and operational demands.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of Kubernetes and EKS clusters, including planning and executing upgrades without dependency on external teams.
- Take ownership of existing Terraform-based infrastructure code, understand its architecture, and enhance it for scale and reliability.
- Maintain and improve enterprise-grade AWS networking and multi-account structure to support security and operational needs.
- Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Data teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with SOC2 and FedRAMP-adjacent compliance standards.
- Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions that support ongoing business growth and technical demands.
- Work with internal stakeholders to assess and fulfill infrastructure requirements for hosted services.
- Contribute to platform-wide reliability efforts, ensuring high availability and resilience.
Compensation
The cash salary range is $170,000-$225,000, with a comprehensive benefits package including equity, health insurance, unlimited PTO, 401k, and various stipends.

About the Role
- We're seeking a Principal AWS Infrastructure Engineer to lead the technical direction and hands-on implementation of our AWS environment, covering EKS lifecycle, multi-account design, and data governance.
- This is a high-impact individual contributor role suited to someone experienced with production Kubernetes, aware of account isolation and failure domain management, and who recognizes infrastructure's role in data governance.
- You will serve as a technical leader in shaping, securing, and advancing our AWS infrastructure, working closely with Security, Compliance, and Data teams to meet audit and performance standards.
- As the company grows, this position will be central to developing infrastructure that scales efficiently and securely.
