Responsibilities
- Gain comprehensive understanding of the technology stack, including cloud infrastructure, configuration management, container orchestration, secrets management, monitoring, and network architecture, with opportunities to specialize over time.
- Carry out defined infrastructure assignments under the guidance of experienced team members, ensuring code changes are completed accurately and integrated efficiently.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code, continuous integration and deployment workflows, monitoring setups, and internal operational tools across multiple layers of the system.
- Observe and assist during on-call duties, helping to assess issues and escalate them appropriately to senior staff when necessary.
- Engage in incident analysis sessions to develop judgment and understanding of system reliability practices.
- Produce clear, thorough documentation including operational guides, system descriptions, and design rationales as an integral part of project delivery.
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex initiatives to understand decision-making patterns and evaluate engineering tradeoffs.

- This role requires obtaining and maintaining a Top Secret Security Clearance. While not immediately required, candidates should begin the clearance process promptly after offer acceptance. Employment may be adjusted or terminated if clearance cannot be secured.
