Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team to build, safeguard, and oversee security services for the organization's worldwide infrastructure.
- Configure and optimize cloud-based security tools, covering enrollment, monitoring, alerting, and maintaining consistent security standards.
- Deploy, develop, and integrate security technologies such as intrusion detection systems, identity management, firewalls, and related controls.
- Contribute to technical solution designs based on specific use cases and business needs.
- Take part in evaluating new technologies and prototypes, offering technical feedback and solution recommendations.
- Monitor advancements in technology and cybersecurity threats, assessing their potential impact and integration into current systems.
- Improve threat detection and response times through automation of threat intelligence and sensor data enhancement.
- Suggest system improvements to strengthen the organization’s overall security stance.
- Support the creation and evaluation of security policies, standards, and best practices.
- Act as a knowledgeable resource across all cybersecurity domains, maintaining deep technical expertise.
- Examine system configurations, designs, and deployments to ensure alignment with established security policies.
- Verify that systems adhere to internal policies and meet recognized industry compliance requirements.
- Investigate and resolve compliance-related issues in information security.
- Help define meaningful security metrics and key performance indicators to track program effectiveness.
