IFRS Foundation is hiring an Information Manager

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members and senior leaders to understand strategic goals and information requirements, then convert them into practical improvements in processes, technology, and data use.
  • Drive the creation and ongoing refinement of the organization's information management framework, ensuring solid governance, accurate data, trustworthy information, and clear policies.
  • Transform information management into a unified knowledge management function that enables efficient capture, organization, sharing, and reuse of institutional knowledge to enhance decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
  • Integrate information and knowledge management practices into daily operations through standardized approaches, continuous improvement, and the provision of accessible training, resources, and support.
  • Enhance data analytics and reporting systems, including interactive dashboards and Power BI solutions, to deliver timely, accurate, and useful insights aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Ensure that information, knowledge, and analytics initiatives are co-developed with internal teams and technology units to meet user needs and technical standards.
  • Prepare the organization for advanced data analysis and emerging technologies, including ethical automation and AI, by strengthening data quality, metadata, knowledge architectures, and governance.
  • Lead the design, structure, and deployment of the organization's SharePoint environment to support information governance, knowledge sharing, and analytics-ready content.
  • Provide technical oversight for SharePoint development and configuration by internal staff and external partners, ensuring adherence to quality, consistency, and best practices.
  • Evaluate and manage requests for new SharePoint features or modifications, reviewing potential impacts before approval.
  • Plan and execute SharePoint upgrades and content migrations, ensuring information architecture supports better knowledge access, reuse, and reporting capabilities.
  • Manage information research services that support standard-setting activities, ensuring research tools and subscriptions are effective, affordable, and meet business needs.
  • Serve as the system owner for the Public Consultation database, maintaining data accuracy, accessibility, and proper usage throughout consultation cycles.
  • Lead vendor management and product assessments for research and consultation platforms, ensuring high performance and cost efficiency.
