About the Role
This role involves delivering individual and group therapy services to clients via telehealth, focusing on mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning while maintaining compliance with state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide remote individual and group therapy sessions
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Diagnose mental health conditions using DSM-5 criteria
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams when necessary
- Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards
- Uphold confidentiality and privacy protocols
- Engage in ongoing clinical supervision as required
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond to client communications within established timeframes
- Stay current with best practices in mental health treatment
- Complete required licensing and renewal processes
- Follow state-specific regulations for telehealth practice
- Support crisis intervention when needed
- Conduct intake evaluations for new clients
- Facilitate client referrals to additional resources
- Maintain professional boundaries in all client interactions
- Use secure telehealth platforms for sessions
- Attend regular training and development sessions
- Contribute to program evaluation efforts
- Promote client engagement and retention
- Support trauma-informed care approaches
- Practice cultural competency in all client interactions
Nice to Have
- Three or more years of clinical practice
- Experience with diverse populations
- Specialization in trauma or anxiety disorders
