About the Role
The In-country Operations Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of local operations, ensuring compliance, optimizing performance, and supporting the expansion of financial services within the region.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations within the country to ensure smooth execution of business activities
- Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and licensing requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with local partners, regulators, and financial institutions
- Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements to operational efficiency
- Lead onboarding and training for local teams and partners
- Coordinate with product and technology teams to adapt solutions for local needs
- Manage country-specific risk and fraud prevention strategies
- Act as primary point of contact for internal teams on local market developments
- Support market expansion initiatives and new product launches
- Ensure customer support processes meet local expectations and service standards
- Drive adoption of financial products through targeted local engagement
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on operational performance and market insights
- Collaborate with finance teams on budgeting and forecasting activities
- Implement and maintain data privacy and security standards in line with local regulations
- Facilitate communication between global leadership and local stakeholders
- Respond to operational issues with timely and effective solutions
- Ensure branding and messaging align with local culture and regulations
- Support audit processes and regulatory examinations
