Responsibilities
- Stay informed on evolving international trade policies, customs regulations, and import/export compliance standards.
- Inform internal teams about regulatory updates and their impact on operations.
- Ensure all import and export activities adhere to applicable customs, trade, and transportation laws.
- Carry out regular compliance assessments and audits, applying corrective and preventive measures when needed.
- Handle applications for permits related to strategic goods and ensure compliance for dual-use or controlled items.
- Oversee accurate tariff classification and ensure precision in customs filings and shipping paperwork.
- Submit import and export permits via government platforms such as TradeNet and CrimsonLogic.
- Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and regulatory agencies to secure timely customs clearance.
- Maintain and organize customs records and audit documentation according to compliance standards.
- Lead full-cycle coordination of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure shipments meet packaging, labeling, and dispatch requirements per company and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with warehouse and related departments to guarantee safe handling and transport of goods.
- Track shipment progress from origin to final destination, resolving delays or operational issues proactively.
- Work across departments including commercial, production, procurement, finance, warehouse, Quality, and EHS to support seamless logistics execution.
- Manage relationships with logistics service providers including freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers.
- Assess vendor performance and service quality to support ongoing improvement efforts.
- Support logistics budget planning, forecasting, cost monitoring, and reporting for financial control and strategic planning.
- Review and manage expenses related to freight, packaging, and other logistics operations.
- Track logistics spending, conduct cost analysis, and identify opportunities to reduce costs.
- Verify vendor invoices and ensure accurate freight cost entries in internal systems.
- Keep complete and accurate records to support customs audits, GST filings, and compliance checks.
- Conduct internal evaluations of logistics processes to detect inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Establish and apply best practices to enhance logistics efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
- Generate logistics and compliance reports for leadership review.
- Lead the design, standardization, and continuous enhancement of logistics workflows to improve performance and compliance.

Remote — Singapore
Team
Reports to the Supply Chain Director, APAC. Leads the logistics team and provides support to logistics centers in Japan, Korea, and Australia.

- Proficient in managing technical documents and contracts in English.
- Occasional travel may be required for on-site coordination and operational support in Japan, Korea, and Australia.
