Shape the future of payments by designing and delivering robust, scalable integration solutions for global merchants. In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of technology and commerce, ensuring payment systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with industry best practices.
What You’ll Do
- Apply your programming background to build and refine integration architectures using Web APIs and modern development standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor to merchants in e-commerce, point of sale, and platform ecosystems, guiding them from onboarding through optimization.
- Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure technical solutions meet both business and operational needs.
- Lead integration projects with a focus on quality, security, and performance, ensuring seamless deployment across diverse environments.
- Advise on payment optimization strategies, including checkout flows, authentication methods, and omnichannel capabilities.
What We’re Looking For
- Four or more years in technical roles requiring problem-solving in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, Java, or similar scripting and development technologies.
- Strong grasp of IT architecture, networking, and API-driven systems.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.
- Based in Shanghai, with readiness to travel across Asia and internationally.
Preferred Background
- Familiarity with the payments industry and its technical standards.
- Additional language skills beyond English and Mandarin.
