The Implementation Engineer plays a key technical role in delivering RetailNext solutions to customers, overseeing end-to-end deployment with precision and consistency. This position is responsible for planning, executing, and validating installations, ensuring all systems are configured correctly and perform as expected in real-world environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact during integrator escalations, providing timely resolution and guidance
- Execute full RetailNext deployments independently, adhering to company standards and best practices
- Review site documentation, including floor plans and surveys, to determine optimal hardware placement
- Monitor and assess vendor performance throughout deployment cycles
- Lead internal and client-facing meetings to align on project goals and progress
- Maintain detailed records of configurations, changes, and deployment outcomes
- Support training initiatives for partners, vendors, and internal teams as needed
Technical Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience with network infrastructure deployment, including software and hardware integration. Proficiency in TCP/IP networking, UNIX command-line operations, and RetailNext-specific tools is essential. The ability to interpret technical diagrams and make real-time configuration decisions during live installations is critical to success.
