Responsibilities
- Possess 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with HFM versions 11.1.1.3, 11.1.2.1, 11.1.2.2, or 11.1.2.3, along with a total of 7 to 15 years working across the Hyperion platform.
- Demonstrate comprehensive expertise in building HFM applications, including configuring metadata such as accounts, entities, scenarios, custom dimensions, and currencies, as well as defining consolidation logic and rules.
- Develop and manage advanced rules using expressions, functions, variables, subroutines, and conditional logic, including consolidation and elimination rules, string comparisons, and subcube operations.
- Lead the definition and implementation of custom dimension structures and map legacy chart of accounts to new chart of accounts.
- Collaborate with FDM teams to validate data transformation outputs based on defined mappings.
- Configure core HFM features during system design and development phases and provide support during testing cycles and user acceptance testing.
- Apply functional understanding to interpret business needs for financial statement setup in HFM, including cash flow statements, roll-forwards, and cumulative translation adjustments.
- Identify gaps between business requirements and HFM system capabilities during implementation planning.
- Conduct reconciliation activities between HFM and source financial systems, particularly for trial balance data.
- Generate financial reports using Hyperion Financial Reporting and Smart View tools.
- Respond to user inquiries about HFM data by providing clear explanations and logical justifications for data outcomes.
- Bring prior experience in full-cycle HFM implementation projects, demonstrating strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to support cross-functional collaboration.
- Apply lessons learned and industry best practices from past implementations to enhance current project execution.
- Support ongoing system maintenance, troubleshooting, and process optimization.
- Work independently and collaboratively within project teams to meet deliverables.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across financial consolidation processes.
- Participate in requirement gathering and solution design sessions with stakeholders.
- Assist in training and knowledge transfer to end users and support teams.
- Validate technical configurations against business use cases.
- Troubleshoot rule execution and data load issues efficiently.
- Maintain documentation for system setups, mappings, and business rules.
- Support audit and compliance reviews by providing accurate system data and explanations.
- Stay current with HFM platform updates and recommended configurations.
- Promote continuous improvement in financial reporting and consolidation workflows.

Responsibilities (10)
- 2-3 Years’ experience in HFM 11.1.1.3 / 11.1.2.1/2/3 and total 7-15 years of experience in Hyperion suite.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in developing HFM applications including defining metadata (accounts, entities, scenarios, custom dims, currency, etc…), consolidation methods, member lists, journals, data forms, intercompany transactions, as well as rules development (expressions, functions, variables, sub procedures, conditional / consolidation / elimination rules, string comparisons, subcubes, etc …)
- Drive custom dimension requirements and can set up mappings between old COA and new COA and work with FDM team and validate output of converted data as per mapping.
- Setup key HFM functionalities during design and build phase and support work outs and UAT.
- Should have functional knowledge to understand business requirements for setting up financial statements (like Cash flow, roll forwards, CTA, etc.) in HFM and point out gaps in terms of fitment of requirements in HFM application.
- Perform reconciliations between HFM and source system for financial statement like Trial Balance.
- Should be able to accomplish reporting using Hyperion Financial Reporting and Smart view.
- Handle data queries of users on HFM data and can put up rational behind HFM data.
- Prior HFM implementation experience is a must with excellent verbal and written communication
- Can leverage best practices from previous implementation experience and work on constant support and continuous improvement
