Responsibilities
- Inspect and service HVAC systems regularly
- Diagnose malfunctions in heating and cooling units
- Repair or replace defective components
- Maintain records of service and repairs
- Respond to emergency service calls
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Install new HVAC equipment as needed
- Test system performance after repairs
- Work with building management on service schedules
- Monitor refrigerant levels and pressures
- Perform ductwork inspections and cleaning
- Calibrate thermostats and controls
- Follow preventive maintenance protocols
- Use hand and power tools safely
- Interpret technical schematics and manuals
- Coordinate with vendors for parts and support
- Adhere to environmental and disposal regulations
