Responsibilities
- Manages daily implementation of personnel policies and procedures at the assigned site.
- Leads and delegates responsibilities for employee onboarding and training initiatives.
- Ensures local compensation and benefits administration aligns with corporate standards.
- Proposes improvements or updates to human resources programs to better meet operational needs.
- Provides input on budget planning for HR-related activities and staffing operations.
- Coordinates affirmative action efforts and other employee engagement initiatives.
- Supports the creation of separation notices for disciplinary terminations and may lead exit interviews.
- Develops reports and suggests strategies to lower employee turnover and absenteeism.
- May attend hearings or investigations related to workforce matters on behalf of the organization.
- May aid in labor negotiations and help enforce collective bargaining agreement terms locally.
