Innodata Inc is looking for a Human Resources Operations Specialist to support the day-to-day operational functions of our HR department. You will ensure accuracy in HRIS data, compliance with policies, and efficient processing of employee lifecycle events.
What You'll Do
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS
- Process employee lifecycle events including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and transfers
- Ensure HR data integrity and perform regular audits
- Generate and analyze HR reports related to headcount, turnover, and compliance
- Support benefits administration and coordinate with vendors
- Assist with payroll data processing and liaise with finance and payroll teams
- Help develop and document HR processes and SOPs
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and systems
- Support HR compliance efforts for EEO, I-9, and audits
- Collaborate with recruiters, HRBPs, and leadership on cross-functional initiatives
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years of talent acquisition or recruiting experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, and formulas
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms like Paychex, BambooHR, Workday, or ADP
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Benefits & Compensation
- Salary range: $60,000 - $65,000
