Who We Are Looking For We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and proactive Human Resources Officer to join our human resources team. In this position, you will collaborate with managers and employees to deliver HR services across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance, while supporting regional HR initiatives. What You Will Do as USANA’s Human Resources Officer Essential - Responsible for all round HR operations for Hong Kong and Japan - Accountable to handle the work structure, recruitment, training, compensation & benefits, industrial relations and employee engagement - Formulates and maintain to keep HR policies, procedures and documentation relevant and appropriate for the Company’s businesses and also to ensure legal compliance with the statutory regulations - Proactively keeps abreast with changes in labor law, HR practices and industry trends to ensure HR best practices in the organization - Establishes strong working partnership with business and its respective colleagues, providing HR services and solutions to support business strategies and in the achievement of their business objectives - Collaborates with Head of Departments to execute HR strategies - Ensures performance reviews are carried out in accordance with company policy - Ensures training needs analysis is carried out and implements the training plan - Partners and actively work with respective hiring managers in achieving manpower requirements through recruitment initiatives - Co-ordinates recruitment processes in the company - Builds relationships with recruiters, drafts briefs, sets up interviews where necessary - Ensures all job descriptions are kept up-to-date - Acts as a resource for employees regarding benefits, performance, grievances issues, employee relations, etc. Provides day-to-day human resources support, and counsel to the stakeholders and employee in a legally compliant and professional way - Supports and executes regional HR relative key activities and initiatives - Organizes and ensures the accuracy and currency of HR data and record - Compiles HR management reports Additional - Supports the manager in other regional duties as needed. - Participates in HR-related surveys and market research and keep abreast with market trends and practices - Support Regional Total Rewards team in various responsibilities including but not limited to annual merit increase process, job evaluation and salary recommendation - Responsible for Employee wellness program and Employee Assistance program for the region - Responsible for HRIS administration for the region and ensure data accuracy - Manage the e-leave system - Manage the new hire interview process. - Travel domestically and internationally on weekends and nights as required at USANA events or business requirements. - Perform other duties or ad hoc projects as assigned or needed. Background and Skills You Will Need - Degree in Human Resources or related disciplines - Minimum 3 years Human Resources experience, preferably gained in MNC - Excellent in written and spoken Chinese and English. Proficiency in spoken Mandarin is advantageous - Strong knowledge of local labor laws and related statutory regulations - High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint - Must be detail-oriented, accurate with good organizational skills and have the ability to work autonomously - Ability to keep confidentiality - Ability to interact with all levels of employee Position is located in Hong Kong About USANA Since 1992, USANA has provided the world with the highest-quality products focused on nutritional supplements, skincare, and a healthy lifestyle.
