Responsibilities

  • Champion and integrate company culture, mission, values, and purpose across all HR processes, including hiring, performance management, and team dynamics.
  • Provide strategic HR partnership to high-performing engineering teams, focusing on team goals, business needs, and challenges, and engage in team meetings to identify blind spots affecting cohesion and morale.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to team leaders, offering guidance on initiatives, team dynamics, interpersonal relationships, conflict resolution, and building stronger team culture.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies tailored to engineering teams, aligning with business objectives and optimizing performance through workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning.
  • Support leaders with consistent performance management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and informed decisions on promotions and performance improvement.
  • Actively participate in the hiring process, particularly culture interviews, to ensure new hires align with team values and raise the hiring bar across the organization.
  • Focus on understanding interpersonal dynamics within teams, using high emotional intelligence to coach individuals and teams on effective collaboration and constructive conflict resolution.
  • Work with leadership to identify and address organizational issues or inefficiencies, challenging the status quo with innovative solutions to improve effectiveness.
  • Influence hiring, promotion, and termination decisions based on core values, ensuring HR decisions align with the mission and driving organizational change.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues with fairness and transparency, ensuring legal compliance and providing guidance on sensitive matters.
  • Partner with the HR team to analyze trends and metrics for improving team performance, engagement, and retention, using data for actionable insights.
