About the Role

At Qdrant, we are looking for an HR Operations Specialist to play a key role in shaping the foundations of our people operations. You will focus on data-driven HR processes, compliance, and scalable systems within our growing international tech environment. You will design, implement, and refine HR workflows and structures from the ground up.

What You'll Do

  • Own and standardize end-to-end HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee data management across several countries.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations in each jurisdiction.
  • Prepare and validate payroll inputs for multiple jurisdictions, including the US and Germany.
  • Maintain accurate monthly payroll data, including working hours, deductions, bonuses, benefits, leave data, and statutory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure payroll consistency and identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Build HR process infrastructure from scratch including workflows, templates, documentation, and data models.
  • Evaluate and implement tools; develop scalable processes before digitalization.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedures and policy documents for all core HR processes.
  • Develop and own core HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, compensation insights, and hiring funnel efficiency.
  • Build monthly dashboards and trend reports, including root-cause analysis and recommendations.
  • Maintain high-quality, audit-ready HR data.
  • Coordinate performance review cycles, ensuring timelines are met and documentation is consistent.
  • Analyze performance cycle outcomes and identify improvement areas.
  • Support recruitment activity with structured tasks like job description drafting, pipeline tracking, and talent sourcing.
  • Ensure hiring data is accurate and funnel metrics are clean and measurable.
  • Maintain headcount plans, hiring forecasts, and HR budget data.
  • Ensure all HR operations across countries meet compliance, documentation, and audit standards.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years in HR Operations, HR analytics, or a similar role.
  • Ideally in a fast-scaling tech or startup environment.
  • Strong data and analytical skills.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets abilities.
  • Experience handling multi-country payroll preparation or payroll data management.
  • Comfort working without an existing HRIS.
  • Enthusiasm for building processes and choosing tools from scratch.
  • Strong process-orientation, documentation skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage operational workflows across multiple jurisdictions and departments.
  • The ability to turn data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Thrives in fast-changing, ambiguous, and scaling environments.
