Responsibilities
- Act as a primary HR partner for managers and employees, providing guidance on a wide range of people-related topics
- Build strong relationships with managers, coaching them on performance, feedback, and employee development
- Participate in team meetings to stay aligned with business priorities and proactively identify people-related needs
- Analyse trends (e.g. engagement, attrition, employee relations) and share insights with HR leadership
- Manage employee relations cases of low to moderate complexity, including performance concerns, workplace issues, and policy interpretation
- Support investigations in partnership with senior HR and Legal, ensuring consistency and appropriate documentation
- Guide managers through performance improvement plans (PIPs), corrective actions, and related processes
- Support employees with leaves, accommodations, and sensitive workplace matters
- Support performance review cycles, including manager coaching and calibration processes
- Partner with leaders on talent discussions, development planning, and internal mobility
- Facilitate onboarding touchpoints and early-stage employee check-ins to support engagement and retention
- Champion NETGEAR’s culture and values across your client groups, reinforcing behaviours that reflect who we are as a company
- Support employee engagement survey cycles, including facilitating manager debriefs and helping teams translate insights into clear, actionable plans
- Partner with the wider People & Culture team to deliver engagement initiatives, learning programmes, and culture-building activities
- Foster an inclusive environment where all employees feel valued, heard, and supported
- Execute core HR processes such as promotions, transfers, and organisational changes with accuracy
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies and best practices
- Contribute to HR initiatives, programme rollouts, and process improvements
Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a generalist or early HRBP/People Partner role
- Hands-on experience supporting: Employee relations
- Hands-on experience supporting: Performance management processes
- Hands-on experience supporting: Direct manager coaching and guidance
- Solid understanding of Irish and European employment law and HR best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels
- High level of discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive matters
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platforms
- Exposure to supporting multi-location or global teams
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- CIPD/HR qualification (or working towards) preferred
