Sage Haus is hiring a House Manager & Family Assistant (with Childcare Support & Meal Prep)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain orderly systems for storage areas including closets, pantry, and toy collections
  • Tidy and reset living spaces daily and prepare the home for biweekly cleaning services
  • Manage and monitor household calendars and family schedules
  • Organize seasonal changes for clothing, home décor, and bedding
  • Coordinate services from external vendors such as cleaners, landscapers, and maintenance personnel
  • Handle packing and unpacking for family travel
  • Supervise visiting service staff and identify new vendors when necessary
  • Monitor inventory and replenish supplies in the pantry, refrigerator, bathroom, and household storage
  • Maintain supply lists and place orders through major retailers and wholesale providers
  • Complete regular errands including grocery shopping, dry cleaning pickup, returns, and gift purchases
  • Manage incoming mail and package deliveries
  • Plan and cook nutritious meals and snacks for the family 2 to 3 times weekly
  • Prepare and store batch-cooked meals for easy access during busy days
  • Purchase groceries and ingredients needed for meal preparation
  • Clean and organize the kitchen after food preparation
  • Wash, dry, fold, and arrange family laundry including clothes, linens, and towels
  • Rotate bed linens, refresh towels, and restock essential bathroom items
  • Provide special handling for infant garments and delicate clothing items
  • Feed the family dog, take it for walks, and clean up after it as required
  • Prepare fresh dog meals using ground beef, vegetables, and quinoa
  • Provide in-home pet care and house-sitting during family trips
  • Keep pet-related supplies well-stocked and neatly stored
  • Ensure family vehicles are fueled, clean, and organized when necessary
  • Arrange and oversee cleaning and repair services for the home
  • Investigate and schedule home repairs and ongoing maintenance tasks

Responsibilities

  • Batch cook and create grab-and-go options for the family
  • Shop for groceries and meal-related items
  • Clean kitchen post-prep and manage kitchen organization
  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize family laundry (clothing, bedding, towels)
  • Rotate bedding, refresh towels, and restock linen essentials
  • Handle special care for baby’s items and parents’ specialty clothing
  • Feed and walk the dog, pick up after as needed
  • Prepare homemade dog food (ground beef, veggies, quinoa)
  • House-sit and care for the dog during family travel
  • Keep pet supplies stocked and organized
  • Ensure family vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and organized, as needed
  • Schedule and supervise service providers (cleaners, contractors)
  • Research and coordinate repairs and maintenance
