Responsibilities
- Direct hotel development projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Implement and maintain robust project governance frameworks, processes, and systems throughout the lifecycle.
- Oversee detailed project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Manage project budgets, cost control, procurement strategies, and vendor negotiations.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Maintain transparent communication with clients, consultants, and stakeholders through regular updates and formal reporting.
- Leverage industry relationships to identify new opportunities and support regional growth initiatives.
- Provide expert input on delivery models, value engineering, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure accurate invoicing, financial tracking, and documentation using internal systems.
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 15 years in hospitality development, with a strong focus on hotel projects in LATAM.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale hotel developments, including new builds, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Deep understanding of project management methodologies, procurement processes, and contractor oversight.
- Strong connections with developers, operators, and service providers in the hospitality sector.
- Spanish fluency required; English proficiency at an intermediate or higher level.
- Proven experience in budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities; capable of thriving under pressure and driving results.
