Turner & Townsend is hiring a Hotel Lead México - Hospitality Construction Projects, Mexico City

Responsibilities

  • Direct hotel development projects from inception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain robust project governance frameworks, processes, and systems throughout the lifecycle.
  • Oversee detailed project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Manage project budgets, cost control, procurement strategies, and vendor negotiations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Maintain transparent communication with clients, consultants, and stakeholders through regular updates and formal reporting.
  • Leverage industry relationships to identify new opportunities and support regional growth initiatives.
  • Provide expert input on delivery models, value engineering, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure accurate invoicing, financial tracking, and documentation using internal systems.

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years in hospitality development, with a strong focus on hotel projects in LATAM.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale hotel developments, including new builds, renovations, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Deep understanding of project management methodologies, procurement processes, and contractor oversight.
  • Strong connections with developers, operators, and service providers in the hospitality sector.
  • Spanish fluency required; English proficiency at an intermediate or higher level.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities; capable of thriving under pressure and driving results.
