About the Role
This role involves driving sales and market penetration of pharmaceutical products within hospital settings by engaging with key medical decision-makers and supporting clinical teams with product education and data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Promote pharmaceutical products to physicians, pharmacists, and hospital staff
- Build and maintain relationships with key healthcare providers in acute care settings
- Deliver clinical presentations to medical teams using approved materials
- Monitor and report on competitive activity within the territory
- Collaborate with internal teams to align field activities with business goals
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics regularly
- Identify new business opportunities within assigned accounts
- Support product launches through targeted outreach
- Attend medical conferences and professional events as required
- Respond to clinical inquiries with accurate, scientifically sound information
- Coordinate with managed markets teams on formulary access
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant therapeutic areas
- Submit detailed activity and call reports
- Drive adoption of products through consistent field engagement
- Work within defined ethical and legal guidelines for pharmaceutical promotion
- Educate customers on proper product use and dosing protocols
- Assist in resolving supply or access issues for patients
- Participate in regional sales meetings and training sessions
- Support medical education initiatives when appropriate
