Responsibilities
- Serve patients within a designated service region
- Deliver one-on-one therapeutic treatment sessions
- Assess patient conditions and create customized therapy plans in accordance with physician referrals and individual needs
- Administer care that meets professional practice guidelines, organizational policies, and prescribed treatment protocols
- Instruct family members, home health aides, and other caregivers in appropriate therapeutic methods
- Design and implement occupational therapy programs aimed at maintaining or improving physical function, reducing pain, and preventing functional decline
- Conduct and record initial evaluations, analyzing findings to identify issues and establish a clinical diagnosis before beginning treatment
- Ensure timely and precise documentation for every patient visit
- Monitor treatment outcomes throughout the care process and modify interventions as needed to optimize patient progress
- Demonstrate willingness to work with elderly patients
