Responsibilities
- Serve patients within a specified geographic region
- Deliver one-on-one therapeutic treatment sessions
- Assess patients and create personalized therapy plans in accordance with physician referrals and individual needs
- Administer care consistent with professional guidelines, organizational policies, and prescribed treatment protocols
- Instruct family members, home health aides, and other caregivers in appropriate therapeutic methods
- Design and implement occupational therapy programs aimed at maintaining or improving physical function, reducing pain, and preventing occupational decline
- Conduct and record initial evaluations, analyzing findings to identify issues and establish diagnoses before initiating treatment
- Ensure timely and precise documentation for every patient visit
- Assess treatment outcomes at multiple points and modify interventions as needed to optimize results
- Demonstrate willingness to provide care for elderly patients
