Responsibilities
- Serve patients within a specified geographic region
- Deliver individualized, one-on-one therapy sessions
- Assess patient conditions and create personalized treatment strategies in line with physician directives and individual needs
- Administer therapy services according to professional guidelines, agency protocols, and prescribed care plans
- Instruct family members, home health aides, and other caregivers in appropriate therapeutic methods
- Design and implement occupational therapy programs aimed at maintaining, enhancing, or restoring physical abilities, reducing pain, and preventing functional decline
- Conduct and record initial evaluations, analyze findings, and establish diagnoses before initiating treatment
- Ensure timely and precise documentation for every patient visit
- Monitor treatment outcomes throughout care and modify interventions to optimize results
- Demonstrate willingness to work with elderly patients
